Eurail

And...
What if I don't live in Europe?

Eurail is a railway pass similar to Interrail pass, but it's adapted to non european citizens or residents. That is, although you haven't been born in Europe, if you can demostrate that you live here, you can use Interrail pass. But, if you live in other continet, you have to use Eurail pass.

So, how can I demostrate that I was born here?

Simply with a passport or an ID card (DNI in Spain). IMPORTANT: the train staff may verify your identity or nationality in any moment of the travel, so you have to have this document at have.

And, how can I demostrate that I live here nowadays?

With official documentation emitted by the government of your country, for example with a residence card. This documentation must be valid during all the time that the trip lasts. Rental agreements, invoices, travel visas, contracts... WILL NOT be accepted.
